Ms. Joylin Anup Nair, a resident of Pune, Maharashtra, India, pursued an online Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education (ADHD, Autism & Learning Disabilities) at Asian College of Teachers (ACT) as a parent to a child with ADHD. In the hope of helping her son academically, Ms. Joylin opted for our PG Diploma in Special Education course which she feels helped her immensely in gathering a lot of information to help her child reach his full potential. She learnt a couple of things from our course that she was not aware of. This includes IEP (Individualized Education Plan), different learning disabilities, and gaining other theoretical knowledge. She found vast information on the subject which she feels helped her gain insight into special education. Ms. Joylin hopes to get engaged with some satisfying work related to special education after her son grows up. Our best wishes are always with her and we know that with the knowledge that she gained from our course, she will be able to correctly guide her child during his vital growing up years.
